While anyone can aim for the head when they're up close, few can nail quite as many bullseyes as Colte can if he's armed with the right weapon. Lending well to his preference for reconnaissance, he can hit MOST targets if he's able to dig in and line up the shot properly.
Above Average Skills:
Gunplay.While he's no master and he doesn't have experience with more rare firearms, he has a decent talent for using a gun given his combat training and shooting eye.
Hand to Hand Combat.Capable of handling himself, Colte is bigger and heavier than the average survivor in Gaea, and he knows how to use it to stack the odds in his favor.
Tracking & Hunting.He spent most of his survival training hyper-focusing on tracking and killing- mostly because it was a damn shot more interesting than panning for salt, but also to aid him in combat.
Basic Understanding Skills:
College Level & Wilderness Survival EducationHaving gone through full schooling AND completing a term as an Outpost Security Guard has outfitted Colte with just about all the education one can GET in an outpost.
Bladework & Melee WeaponsWhile not exactly his preference, Colte is usually capable enough to use a knife without stabbing himself.
Proper Drug (Ab)UseTwo years clean hasn't wiped the junkie-know-how from Colte's mind. He may not have the self-control to keep off the needles forever, he's at least smart enough to know how to keep himself from overdosing.
Difficulties & Weaknesses:
Shaky HandsTo this day, Colte's hands still shake when he gets too stressed (and if he's sober). It makes aiming a gun damn hard, and his small motor functions as a whole get a lot more difficult.
Crippling AddictionHe's clean now, but the addiction never truly goes away. Colte is still addicted to a laundry list of substances- and beyond that, the THRILL of a high.
Kind of a DickColte has a tendency to open his mouth when he ought not to, and he's not afraid to spit at a man with a much bigger gun than him. It's admirable, at times, but oftentimes his gruff exterior makes him the first to be betrayed by wayward survivors.

Morality:
While Colte isn't against killing nor is he an exactly STELLAR person, he isn't violent or sadistic by nature. He doesn't WANT to hurt anybody- save for those that've wronged him- but that doesn't mean he isn't willing to if he has to.
Fatal Flaw:
Addiction.
Drugs aren't the only addiction in the world. Power, strength, luxury, and so much more exist; especially in the lawless world of Gaea. Colte is quick to grow attached to a rush if he's allowed to indulge- and getting him back on the straight and narrow is something he rarely has the strength to accomplish alone.
Motivation:
While Colte, like the rest of the Outpost survivors, is motivated to get revenge on the Bragg Twins, his deeper motivations conflict with each other heavily. While on one hand, he's deeply driven to protect his little sister Casey with everything he has, he also craves a simpler life. One where he doesn't have to carry the burden of being the responsible older brother- one where he knows Casey is safe, so he doesn't have to be.
